PAYE Rate: £12.82 per hour
Hours: 05:00-14:00 or 13:00-22:00
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client in Castleford. You’ll be responsible for picking, packing, labelling, and loading vehicles to ensure orders go out accurately and on time. This is a fast-paced, ongoing temporary role with full-time hours and immediate starts available.
The Role:
- Picking, packing, goods-in and loading vehicles
- Using MHE (Material Handling Equipment) where trained
- Processing customer orders to required standards
- Liaising with the customer service team regarding order issues
- Handling returns and stock replenishment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to health & safety and manual handling guidelines
- Occasionally covering delivery driving (if licence held)
The Person:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Health & safety awareness (hazardous materials handling knowledge an advantage)
